Cassie has been in the PR and Marketing industry for almost 15 years, working for agencies and in-house. She set up Portfolio North magazine as a client project in 2017, and in 2022 set up the publication as an independent business.  

Portfolio North now has two bi-monthly print publications in the North East and Yorkshire as well as daily news shared digitally via its website, app, e-newsletters and social media platforms – reaching over 140,000 views per month across print and digital. Its content is shared and created to celebrate the businesses and the people behind them from across the North East and Yorkshire.

Portfolio North has also recently launched a specialist PR Hub, offering PR professionals from agencies, in-house roles or freelancers the opportunity to share their stories, news and features with Portfolio North readers across the North both in print and online.

Cassie has also headed up over £365,000 worth of fundraising via an annual festive fundraiser for North East charities including NE Youth, Bravehearts of the North East, Great North Children’s Hospital and Heel and Toe.
