Focus Dinner with Nas Khan, Jennings Motor Group
12 September 2017, 18:30 - 22:00
Truffle, 20 Grange Road, Darlington
Unable to speak English when he came to Britain at the age of 14, Nas’ career in motors began as a graduate sales executive at the Jennings Ford dealership in Stockton.
Climbing through the ranks for over a decade, Nas won promotion after promotion before three successful management buyouts saw him take over as sole proprietor of the business.
Following rapid expansion, Nas is now responsible for 524 members of staff across 12 dealerships and, under his leadership, the company has diversified into selling and servicing Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, as well as opening a SUBWAY® store at their Stockton dealership.
Never one to rest on his laurels, Jennings is now heavily committed to supporting their local communities; raising over £250,000 for charity, with Nas receiving an OBE for his charity work and contribution to the economy in 2017.
As managing director, Nas ensures the company is committed to the continuous development of its staff and, in winning Ford Motor Company’s most prestigious award for delivering the highest level of customer service on 20 occasions over the past 21 years, has led the group to the pinnacle of automotive excellence.
