Northumbria University Announced Entrepreneurs in Residence Network

With support from the Small Business Charter, Northumbria University’s Newcastle Business School are delighted to announce that they are launching an Entrepreneurs in Residence Network in the North East – and they need our help!

Entrepreneurs in Residence are owner managers who support students on programmes that promote new venture creation and enterprising activities. As an Entrepreneur and member of the Forum, it’s a chance to share your knowledge and expertise by contributing to the development and growth of budding entrepreneurs and their new ventures, as well as the broader development of enterprising graduates.

These voluntary roles could include consulting on current programmes, enhancing the experience of their students through activities such as mentoring, coaching and career guidance, helping to foster business ideas and contribute to a variety of classroom activities, as well as acting as ambassadors to help promote Higher Education and support student recruitment.

Commitment will range from a couple of hours a semester to perhaps much more - as little or as much time as you are able to offer.

To find out more why not join the University at their kick-off event on Wednesday, 19th July at Newcastle Business School, City Campus East, Northumbria University between 8am-11am.

To secure your place, please register online here or email Emma Batey, Northumbria University Business and Engagement Manager on emma.batey@northumbria.ac.uk.
