A group of growing Entrepreneurs’ Forum members highlighted
their scale-up journeys and ambitions to a national business journalist.
The Entrepreneurs’ Forum played host to the Sunday Times Enterprise Editor Peter Evans as part of a visit to the North East organised by the Forum’s Vice-Chairman and Senior Partner at Recognition PR, Graham Robb.
Peter met with Andrew Tomlinson Director at Andrew James Ltd, John Savage, Managing Director of Flame Heating Group and Raman Sehgal, Managing Director of ramarketing.
During the session, which also included Entrepreneurs’ Forum Chief Executive Gillian Marshall, the business owners discussed the importance of scaling up their companies and the benefits of being based in the North East.
Gillian Marshall said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Peter to the Entrepreneurs’ Forum and to the North East. This region is thriving with entrepreneurial businesses and I think he would have got a taste of the talent and drive that exists among our members to build and scale-up successful enterprises.
“It’s important that we showcase the capabilities of the region’s entrepreneurs and the many business success stories that are born in the region that go on to become valuable contributors to the UK economy.”
