Making Waves: A New Direction for ROAR

ROAR Digital Marketing is a dynamic, award-winning Newcastle-based search engine marketing agency specialising in SEO, PPC and compelling content. 

 

After 7 years in business implementing growth strategies for many global businesses, ROAR has taken a new direction in both its services and the focus of the business. 

 

The brand refresh and new website are now live and see the business take a complete 180 on its branding, colour palette, website and messaging to strengthen its position and authority in the industry. 

 

The launch comes shortly after the business 7th anniversary to switch focus and present ROAR as the quality agency that it is. 

 

Michael Knowles, the Managing Director of ROAR, said: “It’s mindblowing to see everything come together, from the new website to the new branding.

 

“It strengthens our public image and takes us to a new level, positioning us as the go-to search engine marketing agency for high growth across the UK.

ROAR, in partnership with Layers Studio, a Gateshead-based web development company, worked on creating a sleek, stylish design to clearly showcase the business's expertise and wow prospective clients.

 

Michael continued: “It was important to us to find the right design company to bring our vision to life. The fact that Layers could so intelligently bring this vision to life was extraordinary.

 

“To top it off, they are a local business just across the Tyne, which is always a treat to work with other talented businesses in the North East.”

 

James Hanson, the founder of Layers Studio, said: “SEO and Digital Marketing can be a bit of an abstract concept in 'what' it is we are talking about.

 

“This led us to design a geometric, abstract concept for the brand. From there, we just really leaned into it, and ROAR was very open to our creative direction.

 

“We [Layers] genuinely love to see other regional businesses improve and believe that rising tides raise all ships. So if we can show off the region's skills together, we all benefit.”

 

Additionally, ROAR anchored in local photographer Alan Green to create new headshots and imagery for the site, allowing clients to see the specialists behind the screens supporting their journey.

 

Alan told us a little more about the project: “There is incredible value in local businesses working together, as it helps each one to grow, as well as providing an opportunity to showcase what each can do to help others.

 

“To create the photography that ROAR had in mind, I found out more from Michael about what they were aiming to achieve, then created some test shots to demonstrate the possibilities. 

 

“This helped enormously in producing the final results needed for this wonderful project!”

 

Michael concluded: “He [Alan] captured the essence of the new website and brand perfectly. The team couldn’t be happier.”
