Web TV Sites Launched

You’ll know by now that one of the things we love to do is shout out about our region’s inspirational entrepreneurs. We’re delighted to announce that we have just launched two brand new online TV channels - www.entrepreneursforum.tv and www.ifwecanyoucan.tv - which are designed to sit alongside the many activities of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum and our If we can, you can campaign, and act as a visual hub of everything we do.

With Entrepreneurs’ Forum and If we can, you can TV, we aim to add to the voice of the region’s entrepreneurs by creating an opportunity to share their wisdom and perspectives, in glorious Technicolor video.

You’ll probably all have seen our filmmaker Chris at events and conferences, and in fact many of you have been accosted by us at some stage or another through the If we can, you can campaign for an interview, or to unsuspectingly take part in one of our many varied deeds that we cook up. Well, we’ve found the perfect place to showcase all of this, and both www.entrepreneursforum.tv and www.ifwecanyoucan.tv are broken down into a diverse range of channels for your viewing pleasure.

The website will provide unique access to the many inspirational characters who have been involved with the Forum over the years. On the ‘News and Events’ channel, you’ll see backstage interviews and snippets of all the best speeches, ranging from our unrivalled Annual Conferences to our smaller gatherings, and you’ll be able keep up to date with your fellow members’ latest goings on in their businesses.

And we’re about to launch the If we can, you can Challenge for 2010 so you can watch footage of all the previous years and follow all the action when we kick things off on March 8th.

We’ve also got fantastic interviews with members in the ‘Journeys’ channel which go into great depth on why they decided on the entrepreneurial route, the challenges they’ve faced, the mistakes they’ve made and the journey that’s got them to where they are today. They’ve experienced the ups and downs of business life and are willing to share this experience for the benefit of others – it all comes down to the ethos of the Forum.

You’re probably aware of the various PR activities we do throughout the year with our members - including ‘Head to head’ interviews whereby a senior entrepreneur swaps insights with an emerging entrepreneurial talent, and ‘Round the table’ discussions involving four entrepreneurs taking on a specialised topic. Now, as well as reading these interviews, you can watch them online too.

There’s much much more, and we encourage you to visit the websites and take in the vast amounts of content available, but here’s your call to action – we would like you to be as involved as possible in Entrepreneurs’ Forum and If we can, you can TV.
