Simon Crowe moved to the region in 1992 as a young whipper snapper to work for architectural firm Browne Smith Baker. Steadfastly determined, his dedication saw him become a Partner at the tender age of 33.
In 2003 his entrepreneurial spirit dictated that he needed a new challenge, and Simon joined the small but ambitious Niven Architects to lead their expansion plans. His involvement has seen the Darlington based firm become one of the leading architectural practices in the region.
Since the retirement of original co-founder Meg Niven, Simon has taken full control, yet he still likes to get his hands dirty. He leads the in-house project teams and takes an active role in design discussions.
