Behavioural Consultancy Wins Ageing Workforce Contract Across Three Regions

A North East behavioural consultancy has won a new contract to deliver an ageing workforce programme across three regions.

Duo Global Consulting has secured a contract with Education Development Trust, prime contractors of the National Careers Service, to deliver the course as part of the Fuller Working Lives initiative.

Carly Hinds, operations manager at Education Development Trust said: “The National Careers Service is passionate about helping people through every stage of their career and has experience of working with businesses to support employees through periods of change.

“We are looking forward to working with Duo Global Consulting to provide expert workshops to support businesses in unlocking the potential skills and aspirations of their workforce.”

Following a successful pilot in 2018, the Newcastle-based consultancy firm will deliver the programme across the North East, Cumbria and Yorkshire.

The course is designed to provide guidance and support to employers encountering an increasingly ageing workforce, focusing on the retention, retraining and recruitment of older workers as well as training needs analysis, awareness of the ageing workforce, the importance of succession planning and workforce development strategy.

Laura Weaving, managing director at Duo Global Consulting, added: “This project is something we are truly passionate about and the pilot workshop last year gave us a real insight into the challenges around succession planning scaling businesses.

“We are looking forward to working with businesses across all three regions to help them adopt strategies for workforce development.”
