Network Rail Appoint Guerilla

Award winning brand communications agency Guerilla have won a pitch to develop an integrated campaign designed to communicate the benefits that the National Railway, Upgrade Plan investment is bringing to passengers. The Newcastle based agency was selected following the successful pitch of creative concepts and strategic campaign solutions to meet the National Network Rail brief.
Following award of the contract,the team at Guerilla are looking forward to creating a thought-provoking campaign centred around a ‘passenger first’ mentality to place greater emphasis on the brand’s high level of customer service focus.
The 2019 campaign will build on the understanding and awareness of Railway Upgrade Plan campaign 2018 by increasing passenger awareness and understanding of Network Rail’s objectives and goals. In addition, the campaign will aim to convey the key benefits of the new plan and investment; including increased train availability, more seats and a greater reliability of service.
Creative director, Geoff Foots said: “We’ve worked with Network Rail for quite a few years now on a wide range of projects, and it’s really gratifying to be taking the lead in such a high profile national campaign.”
The campaign will feature across a wide range of media channels and heavy usage of digital and outdoor media at stations throughout the UK will ensure that the campaign achieves the highest possible profile. This latest campaign win, is just one of several new business successes that the agency has secured in the last six months.
