Austin Gibbons is the Managing Director of Brighter Compliance, a specialist consultancy provider in the built environment sector. Under his leadership, the company delivers ISO, facilities management and retrofit consultancy and a range of fire compliance services including fire door inspections and fire risk assessments.
With an impressive track record spanning various leadership roles, Austin has extensive expertise in implementing and certifying management systems across safety, quality, environmental and asset management standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 55001.
His career highlights include co-founding Simply Certification, a UKAS-accredited certification body and spearheading projects such as PAS 2030 and Microgeneration Certification scheme development.
Austin holds an MBA in Facilities Management from Sheffield Hallam University, a BA Hons in Business (First Class) from Manchester Metropolitan University and numerous professional memberships including Chartered Membership with IOSH and Certified Membership with IWFM.
A passionate innovator and problem-solver, he excels in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and delivering sustainable solutions for clients in the built environment.
