About

Founded in 2002 as a not-for-profit organisation by Sir Peter Vardy and Lorna Moran OBE, the Entrepreneurs’ Forum has grown from 40 founding members to hundreds of North East entrepreneurs.

We launched at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle welcoming our first guest speaker, Sir Richard Branson.

Since then, we have welcomed over 1,000 north east entrepreneurs into membership.  Over 30,000 guests have attended our events and we have made over 20,000 mentoring connections.

Joining from all sectors, our members regularly meet at inspirational events and through peer-to-peer mentoring to share ideas, make valuable new connections and learn from those who have been there and done it all before.

Hear our founders talking about how it all began.

Our purpose

Our purpose is the same as when we were founded 20 years ago: to bring together and inspire North East entrepreneurs.

Our vision

Our vision is for the North East to be the best place in the UK to be an entrepreneur.

Join the largest entrepreneurial network in the North East
