Terms and Conditions
By applying to join ASCENT, you agree to take part in the programme in line with the following terms.
All applications are subject to approval by the Entrepreneurs’ Forum Limited (“Entrepreneurs’ Forum”), which may be given or withheld at its discretion. You will be notified by email if your application is successful. Participation in ASCENT does not constitute membership of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum.
ASCENT provides access to a programme of founder events, mentoring opportunities, and peer-to-peer engagement. The Entrepreneurs’ Forum will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the experience as described, but reserves the right to make changes to the format, content, speakers, or delivery where necessary.
The annual participation fee for ASCENT is payable in advance and is exclusive of VAT. Payment must be made within 30 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed. The Entrepreneurs’ Forum reserves the right to suspend or withdraw access where payment has not been received. Fees are non-refundable once participation has commenced, except at the discretion of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum.
From time to time, certain events or activities may carry an additional cost, for example, where external venues or catering are involved. These will be communicated in advance. Where you have confirmed attendance at an event with an associated cost, at least 72 hours’ notice must be given if you are unable to attend. Failure to do so may result in the full cost being charged.
ASCENT operates as a rolling programme. You may withdraw at any time by providing written notice, however, no refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the fee. The Entrepreneurs’ Forum may withdraw your participation at any time at its discretion. This may include circumstances where your conduct is inconsistent with the values of ASCENT, where you breach these terms, or where your continued involvement may affect the reputation of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum or its participants. In such cases, a refund will not normally be provided.
ASCENT is built on openness and trust. Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of others. Information shared may be used, but the identity or affiliation of other participants should not be disclosed without permission.
The Entrepreneurs’ Forum will collect and process your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By applying to ASCENT, you agree that we may contact you regarding ASCENT activities, events, and relevant communications. You may opt out at any time.
The Entrepreneurs’ Forum shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your participation in ASCENT, including loss of business, profit or opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
