A North-based SEO and PPC consultancy has launched a fully-fledged agency named Climb & Conquer.
Climb & Conquer is founded and led by established SEO and PPC professional, Shane Parkins, who began his digital career in 2010 and has worked for a range of well-respected businesses such as Silverbean, Workwear Express and The Tanning Shop in senior digital roles.
The burgeoning business now has a team of 12 situated in the North East primarily, with additional digital expertise on a remote basis in Lincoln, Birmingham, London, Belfast, Blackpool, Devon, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire. There is no fixed HQ, but the team are all full-time and work with both UK and international clients, offering a flexible approach to the agency model and putting a solid focus on work-life balance, a key objective for Parkins.
In 2021 Parkins began working as a consultant and swiftly made his own website his best case study, utilising best-in-class organic SEO tactics to rank in the top search position for key terms, resulting in daily double-digit leads driving significant growth, culminating in the decision to add to his team in 2022, with the addition of Victor Stasiak.
Since then, this exponential growth has continued, with the firm projecting a £500,000 turnover by the end of its current financial year (August 2024). Climb & Conquer is then projected to grow to £750,000 by EOFY 2025, followed by £1.3m by EOFY 2026. The agency has enjoyed consistent lead generation, driving inbound leads and wins from clients such as CustomerSure, Northern Pet Company, Crumbs & Doilies and MotorEasy.
The agency’s differentiators include no tying, lengthy contracts and no account management, meaning clients deal directly with the SEO and PPC consultants working on their performance.
Furthermore, every member of the Climb & Conquer team has joined the business at trainee level and benefited from on-the-job training and mentoring, giving them a wider view of digital services and performance as a whole across Technical SEO, Content, Paid Search, Outreach, Analytics and Data, before allowing them to choose the discipline they wish to progress further into.
“I’m deeply passionate about bringing everyone up with the agency. As it grows, everyone grows with it - hence why we don’t recruit anyone above anyone, so early starters can genuinely be rewarded and have options to grow”, explains Parkins.
This fresh approach is certainly attracting talent, as recently advertised roles have resulted in over 500 applications being received.
As Climb & Conquer launches as an official agency there is now more hierarchy within the team, with Victor Stasiak and Blanaid May (pictured with Shane Parkins) stepping up into more senior roles and playing a more active part of the business direction. Both have been with Parkins since 2022 so are two of the longest-standing members of the team.
The launch also signals ambitious plans for Climb & Conquer, with further job opportunities on the table over the coming months as the business approaches a new financial year.
The team are laser-focused on driving client performance without any fluff, which Parkins attributes as another key differentiator:
“I want clients to know and believe our staff care more about the campaign results than they do. Our approaches are designed to drive performance that results in cash in their bank, it’s as simple as that, and that’s what pushes myself and the team to keep going.”
