Plastic Free July is a global movement that inspires millions of people to become part of the solution
to plastic pollution. By participating, we contribute to cleaner streets, healthier oceans, and more
beautiful communities. At Edwards Commercial Cleaning, we are proud to join this initiative and demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

To further our commitment, we've recently partnered with BioVate Hygienics. A company dedicated to developing the most sustainable cleaning products on the planet. With production based in the UK, we're looking forward to introducing our clients to biotechnological cleaning solutions and helping customers in achieving their own carbon reduction goals.
BioVate Hygienics achieves this through the use of ultra-concentrated products, naturally derived
formulations, and innovative packaging solutions. They also operate a fully electric fleet,
emphasising their dedication to reducing their environmental footprint.
We have placed a substantial order with BioVate, and our clients will soon experience the benefits of
these eco-friendly cleaning solutions.
We are also actively working to eliminate single-use plastics from the business and using concentrates alongside excellent dispensing systems and recycled spray bottles, we're well on our way to achieving this.
Another partnership which is helping us achieve our net zero ambitions is with Imvelo Environmental Consultancy. Together we have created a carbon calculator. This tool allows us to track our current plastic usage accurately and measure our progress in reducing single-use plastics. By monitoring our efforts, we can provide transparent reports on our environmental impact and continually strive for improvement. We hope to be in a position to publish our first report by August 2024.
Our dedication to sustainability extends beyond Plastic Free July! We are proud supporters of
Ecologi, an organisation that enables businesses to fund reforestation projects. Recently, we funded
the planting of another 80 trees, reinforcing our commitment to offsetting carbon emissions and
supporting global reforestation efforts.
