As UK employers prepare for the implementation of the Employment Rights Bill, specialist HR consultancy Inspired HR has announced the expansion of its team to meet increasing demand for guidance on neurodiversity and inclusive employment practices.
While the Employment Rights Bill does not directly focus on neurodiversity, its emphasis on day-one rights, flexible working, and the need for reasonable adjustments will lead to increased responsibilities for employers to adapt and meet their neurodivergent employees’ needs.
To support the expected changes, Inspired HR has appointed two new employees and welcomed three new associates following recent annual growth of 77%.
“We’re seeing more organisations recognise that inclusive practice is essential for legal compliance and business performance,” said Nikki Masterman, Founder and CEO. “Our team expansion ensures we can continue to provide expert, proactive support to help businesses embed neuroinclusivity and make sure both the business and its staff are able to thrive.”
Inspired HR’s new appointments bring further strength to its expertise in employment law, workplace accessibility, and neurodiversity strategy. This reinforcement is vital as the Employment Rights Bill will transform how businesses approach HR policy, with heightened requirements around employee rights from day one of employment.
For neurodivergent employees, such as those with ADHD, autism, or dyslexia, this may result in greater awareness and assertion of their rights in the workplace.
“Employers who take neuroinclusion seriously now will not only reduce legal risk but also unlock the potential of a highly skilled and often underrepresented talent pool,” added Nikki Masterman.
