Following a strong 12 months for Newcastle based ION, the business has secured a three-year contract with Quotient Sciences, a global drug development and manufacturing accelerator. The project will focus on transforming Quotient’s CRM and Financial technology stack, to create a unified cloud platform that will support the company in its growth journey.
Quotient Sciences provides integrated and tailored drug substance, drug product, and clinical testing services that span the entire drug development pathway. Having all these services under one organization allows them to save their customers precious time and money in getting new medicines to patients faster. Headquartered in Nottingham, Quotient Sciences currently has over 1,200 employees across 7 locations in the UK and US.
As a specialist in lead-to-ledger technologies, ION works with mid-market businesses to deploy advanced accounting, billing, and CRM cloud applications. Having previously worked with Alnwick-based Arcinova, ION was selected as the technology partner of choice when the organisation was acquired by Quotient Sciences earlier this year.

This new project award comes off the back of a strong period of growth for ION which has seen the team expand to 42 employees over the last 12 months.
