From surviving a traumatic birth and postnatal depression to founding a movement that has connected thousands of women, Kayleigh’s journey is one of resilience, passion, and unwavering dedication. What began as a simple meetup in 2021 has grown into a nationwide network of over 70 groups and 20,000 members, ensuring that no mother feels alone during one of the most vulnerable times in her life.

“I’m incredibly proud to represent the North East and to be recognised by the Northern Power Women Awards,” said Kayleigh. “Mamma Social Co. started as a small idea born from my own experience of isolation. To see it flourish into a national community is beyond what I could have ever imagined. This award is a testament to the power of connection, community, and the incredible women who make Mamma Social what it is today.”

Mamma Social Co provides a safe and welcoming space for mothers to meet, share their experiences, and support one another. With the rise of perinatal mental health challenges, the organisation has become a beacon of hope, reducing loneliness and ensuring that no mother is left behind. Through weekly meetups, events, and an active online community, Mamma Social continues to break barriers and change lives. We are the mothers’ modern village where connections are made.

Kayleigh’s recognition as Person with Purpose solidifies her impact as a leader in maternal wellbeing, proving that grassroots change can create a nationwide movement. As Mamma Social Co continues to grow, she remains committed to advocating for better perinatal mental health support and empowering mothers across the country.
