Rapidly expanding Greener Solutions Group, has announced eight new appointments across the North.
In the North East, Lauren Jones has been appointed as finance officer and Carmel Hutchinson, with over 27 years of experience in the construction industry, joins as contracts manager in the North West.
Other new starters join the North East team as heating and electrical installers. They are Stephen Phoenix, James Piper, Dan Redman and Mark Dyer. Also, in the North East, Damien Anderson joins as scheduling support. Meanwhile, Ricardo Mathis joins the North West team as a cavity wall technician. Established in 2015, by co-founders Andrew Wilkinson and Keian Sanchez, Greener Solutions Group has evolved significantly from a surveying and compliance company in the social housing sector.
It has expanded its expertise to renewables, heating and electrical, cavity wall and loft insulation and full turnkey solutions for retrofit projects. It delivers energy efficiency at pace for the UK’s retrofit sector and improves environmental credentials for clients by implementing sustainable solutions.
Operating nationally, the 35-strong team has won significant contracts in the social housing sector and, in the last four years, installed over 13,500 energy efficient measures across 6,000 homes in the UK, helping to reduce the burden of heating costs and raise the standard of living for countless families. The company has a current year forecast of £5million which it is on target to double over the next two financial years.
Lauren Jones, finance officer from Washington, said: “The company appealed to me because it has ambitious growth plans and will provide me with the opportunity to progress and further develop my skills. I report directly to directors, Keian Sanchez and Andrew Wilkinson and, by working closely with them, I see how passionate they are about the business and what it can achieve. “I’m looking forward to taking on more responsibility and having joined from a construction background, learning more about the energy side of the business really appealed to me.”
