County Durham-based NWR Hygiene has partnered with the prestigious Alnwick Castle Golf Club to deliver superior washroom facilities as part of the club’s £500,000 redevelopment plan.
Established in 2012 by Managing Director Chris Lowery, NWR Hygiene has fast become recognised for providing market-leading hygiene solutions to a range of sectors across the UK, positioning the business as the go-to choice for the well-established Northumbrian-based golf course.
The building programme at the club, in conjunction with Northumberland Estates, has included a new clubhouse with modern changing and washroom facilities, which are benefitting from the installation of new cutting-edge, Biozone technology. The latest in washroom technology uses UV light to eliminate bad smells in the air and destroy airborne viruses, including COVID.
Chris Lowery said, “We are delighted to be working with Alnwick Castle Golf Club as part of their redevelopment plan to help deliver an outstanding facility for members. We work with many businesses and sports clubs across the UK, supplying high-quality products to create hygienic environments. We are proud to be working with the club and helping them deliver a first-class golfing facility”.
In addition to the technology-based Biozone product, NWR has provided further discreet, high-end solutions in washrooms and clubhouse entrances, including personalised logo mats for high footfall areas and the implementation of an efficient water management system.
Andrew Hill, General Manager at the club, said, “We are focused on the modernisation of the clubhouse facilities, which are designed to offer first-class golfing facilities. It is important to the club to work with a local business to introduce new washroom products, and NWR Hygiene is our first choice partner for this part of the project. Chris and his team are hugely knowledgable about the latest technology-driven products, backed with reassuring ongoing support from the Service Team”.
