Recruitment Drive At North East Research Agency To Aid Growth Ambitions

National market research agency Explain, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, has announced a recruitment drive following major growth over the past 12 months and to aid ambitious targets for 2025/26.

The business, which reported a 9% increase in turnover in 2024 boasts clients across the UK including several water companies, the UK’s Electricity and Gas Distribution Networks, and NHS Trusts and ICB’s. Explain Market Research underwent a successful management buyout in 2019, led by chief executive Kim Davis. It is looking to add to its 75-strong team to grow by 7% over the coming financial year.

For over 30 years Explain has been delivering actionable insights into organisations in the North East and across the UK, supporting clients to gain clarity, solve problems and meaningfully engage their audiences. The business welcomed five new colleagues in 2024 following major client wins and is now looking to expand the team further to support growth plans. Vacancies are across the business, including roles for experienced researchers in the insights team.
