Ryder scooped the prestigious award held at Grosvenor Hotel in London on 2 November with the judges noting, “The past 12 months have seen Ryder receive glowing reviews from its clients. Not only did the firm receive 9.56 out of 10 in its bi annual client feedback survey but clients also said that the likelihood of the practice receiving a referral from them was almost 94%”.
The category rewards businesses that have successfully managed innovative projects over the last 12 months, looking at market adaptability, sustainability, people engagement and customer satisfaction.
Ryder has enjoyed a successful year to date, also claiming a Queen’s Enterprise Award for International Trade and were ranked world class, as the leading construction consultant, in Best Companies to Work For earlier in the year.
The practice’s recent projects include the unveiling of net zero carbon offices on Tyneside for the operations centre for the world’s largest windfarm at Dogger Bank, Whipps Cross Hospital redevelopment in London, Pacific Residence for University for British Columbia in Vancouver, the completion of the new headquarters for West Kowloon Cultural District Authority in Hong Kong and BIM strategies for Qatar public works department and Hellas Gold by our specialist digital consultancy BIM Academy.
Mark Thompson, managing partner at Ryder said, “These are exciting times for Ryder, perhaps the most exciting in over 30 years. We have recruited over 90 people, established a new team in Manchester, delivered some fantastic projects across all our locations and achieved our profit share goal for our people. A fantastic collaborative effort that reinforces that it’s all about the team.”
