In May, we had the pleasure of wrapping up an incredible placement period with a group of talented T-Level students, Dammy and Nikita from Newcastle College and Lauren from Northumbria university.
Dammy and Nikita fully immersed themselves in studio life, asking smart questions, tackling real projects, and seizing every opportunity to learn and grow. They delved into web development, gained practical experience in a professional setting, and sharpened their skills along the way.
Lauren, meanwhile, collaborated closely with the Layers design team and explored everything from digital design and marketing to packaging and Figma. She gained hands-on experience in a live studio environment, participated in client meetings, attended industry events, and embraced the 9-to-5 rhythm like a true pro.
It’s been inspiring to watch these young professionals develop their skills, bring fresh perspectives, and dive into real-world projects alongside our team.
Supporting the next generation of creative talent is something we’re truly passionate about at Layers Studio. It’s a reminder of how important hands-on experience is in preparing students for successful careers.
