Theo James and AR Power team up with a mental health specialist, to set up 'Manufacturers Ramble on'.
On Friday 17th November anyone connected to manufacturing and engineering will be getting together for a 10k walk, to raise awareness and vital funds for ‘Andy’s Man club’ a charity set up to help prevent suicide in men.
Mark Bracknall, Owner of Theo James Recruitment, Adam Black, Project Manager of AR Power and Mental health wellbeing expert Ollie Bell, have set up the event and are passionate about bringing together people from around the region and industry.
Mark said "Suicide is on the rise, particularly within men. When Adam suggested the idea to me I thought it was brilliant. Olli had previously come on my Podcast to talk about mental health, so together are confident we can get an event which will make a difference. I love Manufacturing and this region knows how to come together to help. All men, women, kids and pets welcome!"
The event will start from Souter Lighthouse around 12.30pm, with a 10k walk planned. Ollie will give people topics to discuss as we walk and help raise awareness.
