World First L&D Programme Launched

Founded by North East Entrepreneur Di Gates, Connection Heroes is the world's first L&D programme designed to improve human connections in the hybrid workplace.

The programme launches this September with a 3-month pilot that has attracted customers from across the UK, and which has now sold out. Customers for the pilot include Principality Building Society, Bloom Procurement Services,  CPI, Celebrate Difference and Kuoda.

Pam Lamming, Chief People Officer at Bloom, says “Employee voice is important at Bloom and our recent engagement survey confirmed our people want more collaboration. Connection Heroes is an invaluable opportunity to create dedicated time for us to come together and focus on the importance of our relationships. We’re excited to see the impact across the organisation.”

Nicholas Brown of Principality says, “As a building society with over 500,000 members, human relationships are at the core of our business. The scenario-based approach is an opportunity to step outside of the day-to-day and explore fresh perspectives to strengthen our connections, our capability to communicate clearly and support us in living our values.”

The Connection Heroes programme guides players through a series of workshops, online scenario learning experiences and reflective practice. Cohorts are helped to develop the mindset, skillset and toolset they need to build better connections in the hybrid workplace and to develop a culture of connection that drives employee engagement, retention and wellbeing.

A second pilot programme will take place from February 2025 and limited places remain. Anyone interested can contact Di or enrol for updates at www.connectionheroes.co.uk
