Break Out Sessions

When it comes to connecting and recharging, our Spring Conference goes beyond the main stage. During our session before our lunch break, you’ll have the chance to dive into one of five break out activites - each designed to spark creativity, conversation or just give you a fresh perspective.

Whether it’s getting hands-on with games design alongside Chris Wood (Tanglewood Games), stretching your legs on our Walk and Talk, hitting the court with Sarah Price (Go Well) for Network at the Net, learning all about AI with Paul Drake (Sapere Software) and Laura Hill (Ward Hadaway), or finding your flow in a relaxed Art Class led by our host and Alf Art founder Alfie Joey, there’s something for every mood and mindset. Boyne Suite

The gaming industry is one of the fastest growing tech sectors in the North East. This session will give you an appreciation for the industry and what game developers do. Join Chris Wood of Tanglewood Games for an interactive and fun session where you'll work in teams of two or three on a real life game. This session is perfect for beginners, no experience needed!

Walk and Talk

Hardwick Lake

Enjoy the sunshine by joining us for a casual, one-mile conversational walk around the 17-acre Hardwick Lake. This informal networking session offers a great chance to meet fellow entrepreneurs whilst enjoying the sights of Hardwick park. Enjoy the fresh air while building connections and finding inspiration in the great outdoors.

Get out of your chair and move. Join Sarah Price of Go Well for a bite-sized version of her popular 'Network at the Net' events! This fun, interactive session focuses on a friendly game of pickleball, offering a great opportunity to connect with others, enjoy some light-hearted fun and build relationships in an energetic, social environment.
