In this behind-the-scenes visit, Pete will share his inspiring journey from football journalist and campaigner to tech founder and AI entrepreneur, leading Wordnerds to become a key player in the world of customer feedback analytics.
About Pete Daykin and Wordnerds
Pete Daykin co-founded Wordnerds to bridge the gap between language and technology. Using cutting-edge AI, Wordnerds transforms customer feedback data into powerful insights for businesses, helping them better understand their customers' needs. The company’s innovative platform is quickly becoming a game-changer in the voice of customer and feedback analytics space, working with major clients including Starbucks, Sainsbury's and Sage.
The company’s roots trace back to a pivotal moment at a Digital Catapult NETV challenge day with Nissan, where Pete's team built a solution to analyse customer conversations about car issues on Twitter. This led to the creation of Wordnerds, with key support from Sunderland Software City, and helped the company transition from concept to reality. Since then, Pete has led the company through rapid growth, securing funding and expanding into the AI-driven analytics sector.
