3 September 2015, 08:30 - 10:30

Brewin Dolphin, Time Central, Gallowgate, Newcastle NE1 4SR

Join us at this stimulating breakfast event where we will hear from one of the region’s leading economists, Mauricio Armellini, as he gives an ‘off-the-record’ update on the current economic climate.

Based on the Bank of England’s latest forecasts this session will examine the most recent economic data as well as the prospects for growth and inflation.

This event is the perfect opportunity to voice opinions, ask questions and lay down some challenges in a private question time. Covering the key risks facing the economy, the implications for policy makers and how the direction of the economy will affect your business.

Mauricio has been a member of the Government Economic Service since 2008, when he joined the Department for Work and Pensions to lead teams of analysts in areas of key ministerial attention such as skills and pensions.

In 2013 he went on secondment to the North East Local Enterprise Partnership, where he worked as Chief Economist until his appointment as the Bank of England’s Agent for the North East in September 2014.
