A considered provocateur, Ajaz Ahmed is best known for being the founder of Freeserve, once the UK’s largest internet company.
Joining Forum members to deliver his landmark ‘Cut the Cr*p’ talk, Ajaz’s eureka moment came after he purchased a computer in PC World and nobody could tell him how to get onto the Internet.
Freeserve was born, launched by Dixons in 1998, became the UKs’ largest ISP in three months, floated nine months later with a market cap of £1.5bn and entered the FTSE 100 and was sold by Dixons to France Telecom for £1.6bn in 2001.
Following Freeserve, Ajaz sat on a few boards, made some investments, made lots of mistakes and learnt many valuable lessons, including changing his thought patterns to focus on the here and now rather than risking regrets later in life.
Join us for an insightful talk to find out why Ajaz believes some people are more successful than others.
