Come and join your fellow entrepreneurs to hear the remarkable story of Paula Radcliffe's journey into sporting history.
In conjunction with Siglion, an innovative development partnership transforming Sunderland across a twenty year regeneration plan, we welcome Paula to the city as she prepares for the Siglion Sunderland City Half Marathon.
Influenced by her father, Paula started running at the age of seven, joining Bedford and County Athletics Club and competing in her first national race at only 12 years old.
Eventually progressing to become the world's fastest female marathon runner, the list of Paula's achievements and accolades is endless, including becoming world champion six times and seven big city marathon wins.
Paula has fought every step of the way to achieve her goals, bouncing back from injury and inspiring a nation to get behind her along the way.
This is a rare chance to meet and hear from a British sporting legend, sharing her story of determination, grit, achievement and success on the world stage.
We are also delighted that fellow sporting great Steve Cram will be bringing his unique sporting and business insight as event host.
As an athlete his career was forged alongside Coe and Ovett to form a period of unprecedented success in British athletics and since retiring has become one of the BBC’s most respected presenters and commentators, and is now co-Director of DS Media and Events which organise the successful Kielder Marathon, Sunderland City 10K and Half Marathon.
Book now for what is sure to be a high demand event.
