Joining us is Jason Iftakhar, co-founder of Swifty Scooters, who’s proved British manufacturing and innovation go hand-in-hand. Launching their innovative product SwiftyONE (the world’s first premium foldable kick-scooter for adults) in September 2011, Swifty Scooters are recognised as an international export success story, with export sales accounting for 50% of their turnover.
Munir Mamujee, Founder and Managing Director of M2R Education, an award-winning education recruitment company, will also share his business journey which has seen M2R break into markets in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific Countries.
Mark Stangroom of Darlington-based Beanies Flavour Co, the manufacturers of flavoured coffee, will share how, by offering over 25 unique flavours and promoting their ‘2 calories a cup and no sugar’ message, Beanies has become an established beverage brand, not only in the UK but also abroad, with export sales in over 20 countries and a large social media following.
