Investing money, time and knowledge into established but growing, early stage and start-up businesses, angel investors are critical to the growth of new industries and the lifeblood of any entrepreneurial community. But if you’re thinking of becoming a Business Angel, what should you expect? What are the risks and possible rewards? What motivates Angels and what’s it like to work with the entrepreneurs in the investments?

In a round table discussion led by James Robson MBE (Exwold Technology and Entrepreneurs’ Forum) and Jonathan Gold (WH Ireland and Rivers Capital Partners), we'll explore the role of angel investors in the business ecosystem. In particular, we’ll focus on: who business angels are, how to make start-up and early stage investments, what investment processes you should follow, and how to work collaboratively with other investors, fund managers and entrepreneurs.
