12 May 2021, 14:00 - 15:30
Delivered via Zoom
Our newly-launched Sustainability Insight Group brings together entrepreneurs who want to harness their businesses for good, balancing purpose and profit to achieve more. This group aims to help you develop pragmatic and clear strategies, supporting you to become a more responsible business.
In our first session, James Ghaffari, B-Corp UK will discuss B-Corp certification, allowing you to consider whether their approach is right for you while Pete Lillie, Presca Sportswear will share how he has built a business based on sustainable and ethical choices and how they are constantly pioneering new ways to make a positive impact on our society and planet.
This group is open to all entrepreneurs who are interested in exploring how being more sustainable within their business can lead to greatness. The discussion is shaped by your views and experience, so while we hope to cover the topic in detail, we may discuss other subjects related to sustainability during the session.
About our Guests
James Ghaffari is Director of Growth and Product at B Corp UK. B-Corp is an internationally recognised certification for businesses who want to achieve the gold standard of accreditation. Their B-Impact Assessment tool has helped many companies benchmark their current performance against best practice.
Pete Lillie is the co-founder and commercial director of Presca Sportswear. Founded in 2014, Presca’s aim is to provide the most sustainable and environmentally-sound performance sportswear on the market by taking materials which pollute the earth – such as discarded plastic and fishing nets – and redesigning them into performance sportswear which is built to last.
The Small Print
Due to limited capacity our Insight Groups are exclusively for our Entrepreneurial Members.
