During this three-stop tour down Newcastle’s West Road and Elswick Road, you’ll engage in insightful discussions with faith leaders and learn about the key considerations for businesses when hiring and working with people of different faiths, ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace environment.

You will learn effective strategies for engaging and collaborating with diverse faith communities, gaining valuable insights into the Hindu, Muslim, and Sikh religions.

Tour Itinerary

Our Faith Tour will include visits to three places of worship:

• Hindu Temple Newcastle

Kickstarting the event at West Road’s Hindu Temple, you'll learn about Hindu beliefs and practices and how to create an inclusive workplace for Hindu employees.

• Elswick Mosque

Elswick Mosque is our next stop where we’ll gain insights into Muslim practices and values and engage in a meaningful dialogue about accommodating religious observances in the workplace.

• Gurdwara, Bottom of West Road

Our final stop is the Gurdwara where you’ll explore Sikh traditions and values and participate in a discussion on fostering a supportive environment for Sikh employees and customers. The tour will end with a delightful vegetarian curry served at the Gurdwara, offering a wonderful chance to reflect on the day's lessons alongside fellow entrepreneurs.
