Since 2008, he has held senior roles and, in June 2013, led a successful management buyout (MBO) at Dyer Engineering, delivering meaningful impact across the Rail, Energy, and Defence industries, while strengthening the team and supporting the local community.

Based in County Durham, Dyer Engineering partners with industry-leading OEMs such as Hitachi, Cummins, Baker Hughes and Caterpillar, solving complex engineering challenges and specialising in the manufacture of machined metal components and fabrications to advance the global engineering industry.
