Private equity and investment firm Maven Capital Partners has appointed Katie Bohill and Niall Choat as investment managers within its North East team.
Based in Newcastle, both appointments strengthen Maven’s regional investment capability as the firm continues supporting high-growth businesses across the North East.
Katie joins from EY, where she qualified as an ACA chartered accountant, having previously worked within CPI’s biotechnology division on scale-up and optimisation projects across the AgriFoodTech and pharmaceutical sectors.
Niall joins from FRP Corporate Finance and brings experience advising on mid-market mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and strategic growth projects, having also held roles at Aspire Technology Solutions, RSM and Deloitte.
Their appointments will support its continued work managing funding initiatives including the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II (NPIF II) and Finance Durham Fund.
