Young rugby league players at Cramlington Rockets are sporting a new look after receiving backing from local family firm Moody Logistics and Storage.
The Cramlington-based logistics company has sponsored a new playing strip for the Rockets Under-8s, supporting the next generation of players at one of the North East’s largest grassroots rugby league clubs.
Cramlington Rockets provides opportunities for youngsters to get involved in rugby league from the age of five through to Under-16s, helping them develop their skills while building confidence, friendships and teamwork.
Moody Logistics and Storage, which is approaching its 80th anniversary in 2027, has a long history of supporting organisations and initiatives within its local community.
Caroline Moody, Managing Director of Moody Logistics and Storage, said: “We’re delighted to sponsor the Cramlington Rockets Under-8s and hopefully play a small part in helping these young players enjoy their rugby.
“Grassroots sport is about so much more than what happens on the pitch. It gives children the chance to make friends, build confidence, learn about teamwork and feel part of something.
“As a family business based here in Cramlington, it’s important to us to support our local community, and we’re very proud to see the team wearing the Moody Logistics name.”
