Sophie Milliken MBE Celebrates Launch of Third Book

Local businesswoman Sophie Milliken MBE celebrated the launch of her third book, ‘From Unknown to Unforgettable: How to build a personal brand that goes beyond the bio’ at Leila Lily’s in Newcastle yesterday.

Sophie is founder and CEO of award-winning modern PR company Moja, and her newest book is a personal branding guide aimed at entrepreneurs and senior executives looking to boost their profile. The book features a foreword from BBC One Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies MBE, and has been heavily endorsed by entrepreneurs such as BBC One’s The Apprentice judge Linda Plant, serial entrepreneur Daniel Priestley, and social media icon Simon Squibb.

The event, sponsored by Ideas Fest and Rebel Lion Advertising, featured a Q&A session with Sophie and also launched Moja Publishing, her newest business venture. Attendees were treated to a complimentary copy of the book, and enjoyed themed cocktails designed for the event.

“I’m over the moon with the support of the Newcastle launch, especially after the success of our launch in London earlier in the week,” said Sophie.

“This book was a pleasure to write, and celebrating with friends, colleagues, and business buddies alike has been the best part. It shouldn’t be a secret how you get your name out there, and From Unknown to Unforgettable shows you how to do just that.”

All sales from the book’s launch week will be donated to local female unemployment charity Smart Works Newcastle, where Sophie is Chair.

From Unknown to Unforgettable is available in eBook, paperback, and Audible format. Until 6th September, the eBook can be purchased for 0.99p.
