A leading brand and graphic design consultancy has announced two key appointments as it continues to grow strongly and develop a new arm of the business due to client demand.
JUMP, headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne, has appointed Kasey Murphy as marketing manager and Alana Whenary as marketing assistant as it expands into digital marketing services. Its venture into a comprehensive digital marketing offering adds to the brand and design services JUMP is already highly regarded for.
Kasey, who joins with over five years of experience in digital marketing, will lead the marketing arm of the agency, advising clients on digital marketing strategy. She also joins the senior leadership team at JUMP as marketing the business itself becomes a Board priority for the company.
Following a successful digital marketing apprenticeship, Alana has been offered a full-time role as a marketing assistant, working alongside Kasey on client delivery and raising the profile of Jump as a brand, digital marketing and design consultancy.
Rob Brown, founder and managing director at JUMP, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Kasey and Alana to the team. Kasey, supported by Alana, joins at a pivotal moment in JUMP’s growth journey. Whilst our core business is focused on brand and design, many clients are keen for us to manage and advise on their digital marketing strategy too, which is why we’ve decided to offer digital marketing support as a standalone service. Kasey will lead on the delivery of this service alongside another key priority which is marketing JUMP amongst the right audiences, regionally and globally.

Whilst natural talent is an advantage, we believe with the right attitude and mindset we can teach the skills needed to excel in a brand and design career. Alana hugely impressed us during her apprenticeship and she’s shown a strength in character, as well as some great skills, which has seen her become a permanent member of the team.”
Originally from the USA, Kasey graduated at Newcastle University with a master’s in international marketing before moving onto several marketing agencies, where she gained experience and specific expertise in her role.
Kasey said: “I was immediately attracted to JUMP because of the culture the agency has alongside its high quality and extremely creative work. Digital marketing is an area I’m very passionate about and JUMP offers me the opportunity to work directly with clients on their digital marketing strategy. With Kasey and Alana joining, JUMP is now a 14 strong team that’s rapidly growing. As the agency branches out into another sector, JUMP expects to make further hires within the next 12 months, bringing on board two or three more employees across its service offerings.
Alana, 23, from Stockton-on-Tees, said: “When I started my apprenticeship, I was a bit nervous, but the team put me at ease immediately. It’s such a welcoming environment and we’re a close-knit group - I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time here. I was extremely pleased to be offered a full-time role as the clients and the work JUMP delivers resonates very strongly with me. What’s more, the hands-on experience and support you receive each step of the way is second to none and has enabled me to develop rapidly throughout my apprenticeship. I am thoroughly enjoying my new role.”
