Sunderland agency Phonetic Digital launches training space and learning program

Sunderland-based digital agency Phonetic Digital has opened its doors to their new training room with a dedicated schedule of sessions supporting businesses in their digital growth.

The B Corp certified agency has designed the training space for business owners, marketers, comms teams, sole traders and professionals who want to strengthen their digital capability. The agency will provide tailored training to large teams who are looking to upskill on a certain subject and monthly training workshops on specific topics, with tickets limited to eight per session.

The Beyond the Basics sessions are small-group workshops for those who already have some knowledge on a topic and want to go further. Each workshop is led by a practitioner who works on the subject in the real world. Attendees are encouraged to bring real life challenges and example problems to work through during the session.

The 2026 programme covers, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) & GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), Paid Media, and Google Analytics & Data Studio Dashboards and Using AI in Business.

Their first session on SEO will be going beyond the basic idea of search and will allow attendees to improve the way their website is found, understood, and trusted across traditional organic search and emerging generative search.

Steven Parker, Managing Director of Phonetic Digital, said:
““The launch of The Training Room is about making digital learning feel accessible, relevant and genuinely useful. We’ve created a welcoming space where businesses and their teams can step away from the office, ask questions and build practical skills around the challenges they’re facing in their day to day.
There’s no jargon and no cookie cutter approach, simply clear guidance that gives people the confidence to take what they’ve learned and put it into action.”

The Training Room has been designed to make attendees to feel immediately comfortable and ready to learn, kitted out with local finds and upcycled furniture that are steeped in history and stories like an old coal scuttle from the early 1900s and Steven’s great grandmother’s barometer on the wall.

The first training session starts on the 30th September 2026 and is on SEO. Each full-day workshop is £195+VAT per person with lunch and refreshments included.
