Truenorth, a regional marketing consultancy for the north east engineering and manufacturing industry, has been shortlisted for Best New Business in the inaugural Wear Businesswomen Awards 2023.
The Wear Businesswomen Awards, in association with Sunderland City Council and the University of Sunderland, aims to shine a light on the Wear region’s female high achievers.
Partnering with engineering and manufacturing businesses across the region, the majority of which who are based in Sunderland and Washington, combined with eye-catching success and achieving excellent results for its clients has confirmed Truenorth’s position in the shortlist.
Sunderland City Council leader, councillor Graeme Miller, said: “Awards events are crucial to recognise the fantastic business community that we have in Sunderland. The Wear Businesswomen Awards will provide a fantastic platform for our women leaders in Sunderland – it’s vital that we recognise their contribution and what they’re delivering.”
The award ceremony promises to be a night filled with inspiration and celebration as the Wear Region's most accomplished and promising women entrepreneurs come together. The event will also serve as an excellent networking opportunity for local businesses, fostering collaboration and mentorship among women in the regional business community.
With sponsors including Hays Travel, Sunderland City Council and the North East BIC, the awards ceremony will be held at Sunderland AFC’s Stadium of Light on the evening of Thursday October 12th 2023.
