Nikki Masterman is a formidable leader and entrepreneur in the Human Resources industry.
Her journey is as inspiring as her professional achievements. Leaving college at 17, Nikki navigated a series of jobs, including a spell in a carrot factory. The tragic loss of her father to asbestosis at 19 became a defining moment, igniting her determination to honour his memory.
Despite having no formal experience or qualification, Nikki quickly excelled in HR & recruitment, laying the foundations for her rise in the HR profession. In 2017, after a successful 24-year corporate career working for the likes of Tesco, Asda, Game and Costa, she took the bold step of founding her own business, Inspired HR. Nikki overcame the challenges of starting from scratch and built a thriving business supporting clients with people-related solutions nationwide.
Renowned for its client-focused, no-nonsense and simple approach, Inspired HR has been recognised with several awards under Nikki’s leadership.
Drawing on her business experience, Nikki launched a licensee model in 2024 that provides ambitious people-related professionals with the tools, systems, support, and community to launch and scale their own businesses.
As a passionate advocate and expert in the neurodiversity and diversity field, Nikki uses her platform to educate, inspire, and drive meaningful change in the workplace.
