Do you dread being put on the spot? Wish your responses had more impact in meetings? Or perhaps you've dreamed of being a panellist or podcast guest, but fear you won’t say the right thing? If any of these situations resonate then this workshop is for you.

Join public speaking and communication expert, Jo Darby, in this interactive workshop designed to help you gain the confidence and tools needed to shine when speaking spontaneously—whether in pitches, presentations, Q&As, panels, or networking events.

In this half day workshop we will explore key focus areas to improve your spontaneous speaking:

Understanding spontaneous speaking behaviours

Learn why our brains often sabotage our ability to think and speak freely and how letting go of the need to be perfect can unlock your most impactful moments.

How to be spontaneously influential

Learn how to structure your thoughts quickly, buy speaking time, and create space to make your responses more powerful and persuasive. You’ll also find out how to shift your mindset from fearing mistakes to embracing spontaneity as an opportunity to connect, inspire, and influence.

Getting in control of your nerves

Gain practical tools to help you feel more in control, reduce anxiety and enhance clarity - even when the spotlight is on you.

Designed for both business leaders and their teams, this workshop will equip you with the tools and techniques to elevate your communication skills, giving you the confidence to speak in the moment and take on new spontaneous speaking opportunities.
