Beginner Golf Experience - Rockliffe Hall

We’re thrilled to announce that once again we will be returning to the award-winning Rockliffe Hall for our Beginners Golf Experience, made possible thanks to the generous support of the Forum’s digital marketing partner Maitland.

Set within the beautiful parkland of County Durham, Rockliffe Hall is home to one of the UK’s most acclaimed courses offering the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable introduction to the game.

This exclusive session will be led by Maitland Managing Director Doug Dinwiddie - a former caddie and brother of professional golfer Robert Dinwiddie - who brings a wealth of knowledge, insight and on-course experience. Whether you’re picking up a club for the first time or looking to build confidence, Doug’s friendly and hands-on guidance will help you find your rhythm and enjoy every moment on the course.

The day will begin with a catch-up over bacon sandwiches before heading out to the greens where you’ll get to grips with the basics, before heading to the driving range to practice all that you have learnt. 

While more experienced members take part in the Forum’s Four Ball, this relaxed beginner session offers the ideal way to give golf a go, without the pressure.

After the session, you're welcome to stay on for lunch in the Clubhouse at your own leisure and cost, a great chance to unwind and chat with fellow members if you fancy it.
