I originally worked for a major marketing agency in the North West, where I gained a great deal of experience and the necessary confidence and desire to consider setting up my own agency.

Tell me about your background in business
I couldn’t have ever contemplated one day being the managing director of a cleaning company employing 60 people when, after leaving Harton Comprehensive in South Shields, I won a scholarship to study an HNC in electrical and electronical engineering – part of a programme designed to encourage more women into engineering.
On Monday 11th May, we announced ‘Forward’, our initiative developed in collaboration with Forum members and partners to respond to the unique challenges faced by business since March 2020.
