As CEO and co-founder of Wordnerds, Pete leads a company that’s rapidly redefining customer feedback, turning raw data into powerful and actionable insights.

An innovative platform built for insights and voice of customer teams, Wordnerds is fast becoming a major player in the world of feedback analytics. But Pete’s journey to tech founder was far from linear. Before diving into algorithms and data, he spent 16 years as a football journalist and campaigner, spearheading the FSA’s Safe Standing campaign - an effort that ultimately led to a landmark change in UK legislation in 2021.

His story is one of reinvention. In the early 2000s, as traditional football magazines began to lose their audience to internet fansites, Pete taught himself HTML, bought a suit and a computer on credit and launched his own web agency. Fast forward to 2017, when that agency took on a challenge from Nissan to find customers discussing car issues on Twitter, and Pete’s passions for words and technology fused into a single venture: Wordnerds.

In 2018, the platform outgrew its parent agency and a new journey began, tackling the complexities of customer feedback with cutting-edge technology and a deep understanding of language.
